BIOGRAPHY
Mieczyslaw Pasowicz (1958) MD, PhD, FACC, FESC. Polish medical doctor practicing in cardiology, radiology and internal medicine.
He completed specialization internships and training at the Institute of Cardiology at the John Paul II Hospital in Cracow, the University Hospital and Oncology Centre, as well as at leading medical centres in the USA, Germany, Denmark and the United Kingdom.
President of Polish Association of Hospital Directors, v-ce-President of the European Association of Hospital Managers, I v-ce president of European Association of Hospital Managers (1998-2006). He was the Chairman of the Health Working Group of the Life Science Cluster in Kraków (2004-2008). Founder of the Cardiac Radiology working Group Polish Cardiology Society and cardiac subcommittee chairman of the European Congress of Radiology (2008) .
Originator and founder of the Institute of Innovative Medicine – spin off company, carrying out research and implementation on the application of the telemedicine, as well as therapeutic and diagnostic activities in the field of age-related diseases..
Leader of the Digital Hospital of the Future project in Poland. Professor at Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University. He has 30 years experience in management leading public and private hospitals, 20 years experience in management (CEO) of the John Paul II Hospital in Krakow.
