Mrs. Veraghert Stefanie

Stefanie is a social entrepreneur that has a bachelor's degree in Social Work and a master's degree in European Comparative Social Studies. Diagnosed with a stadium 4 Cervical Cancer at the age of 26 she was a young adolescent (AYA) cancer patient. After her treatment she decided to make a big career shift and inspire others with her story. She worked with the Flemish Cancer League and is running her own social enterprise 'The Big C. (Coffee for Cancer) ' that is all about health awareness and empowerment. As a motivational speaker, storyteller and incubator for innovative projects in the healthcare she is promoting patient-driven-innovation and human-centered-design-thinking.
